SAFETY AND SECURITY

Although we are a gated community, Woodbridge Lakes is not immune from crime, in fact, because of ongoing construction, you should always be on guard. In the past their have been some instances where people have had items stolen from their property and homes. Please take care and use common sense. When you go out, set your alarm, every home has one. Leave lights on in the evening - Light deters crime! Lock your doors - this may seem like a no-brainer, but many crimes happen because a home owner leaves their garage door up or their front doors unlocked.

Lock your cars! Many of us have our garage door remotes in our vehicles, if the cars not locked and is parked outside, someone can grab your remote! Be observant, if you see unusual activity, take note - write down a description or license plate before you forget. And most importantly - Call the police! Our tax dollars pay them, therefore use them, no matter how insignificant the situation. By calling the police, you can possibly prevent a future problem.
